Never Leave You Nor Forsake You

The LORD himself
goes before you
and will be with you;
he will never leave you
nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid;
do not be discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8

Who/where is the LORD?

Our mind can only process duality — otherness.

What is with you always, but Awareness!
We tend to ignore Awareness itself, by being fascinated with the objects of awareness.

by whom are all things

What about, if there is only one Awareness — one Lord!

One Father: Consciousness

One Son: One Awareness, individualized as you and me.

“I and my Father are one”.
One: not two, no gap, no distance, no defined boundary (besides thinking).

But to us there is but one God,
the Father,
of whom are all things,
and we in him;

and one Lord Jesus Christ,
by whom are all things,
and we by him.
1 Corinthians 8:6

I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
John 10:1

I came

I came: I am already here, but you don’t notice me because you are too busy with “this world”, in your mind.

Abundantly: not in “stuff”, but in quality, in fulfillment, in wholeness.

Remain in Him

Is this a doing, a being, a relaxing, a surrender?

If it were a doing, then it would flip-flop — would stop — when you get distracted or tired…

And now, little children, remain in Him, so that when He appears, we may be confident and unashamed before Him at His coming.
1 John 2:28

But not everyone has this knowledge. Some people are still so accustomed to idols that they eat such food as if it were sacrificed to an idol. And since their conscience is weak, it is defiled.
1 Corinthians 8:7

Idols are mental images… thoughts, ideas, assumptions, beliefs, hopes…

They keep our attention separated in the thinking head.

What we need is a living, loving connection with Source — here and now; not regurgitated thoughts.
