I am the LORD, who heals you

He said, “If you listen carefully to the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”
Exodus 15:26

If you ... carefully

Listening requires openness, being relaxed, being aware.

Being willing to listen as a form of vulnerability, a braveness to be present with what IS; a surrender of expectations, a letting go of our “should, would and could”.

Not running away into thinking; not pretending to know; not avoiding the pain/discomfort of not-knowing.

the LORD your God

Our brain is trained to survive, to fill in the gaps.

Reading the Bible is not to get anywhere; it is not about changing “this world”, but to abide in your true nature, God, Love; undistracted by appearances — the interpretations of our brain.

God ~ the biggest ‘something’ we can conceive of in our mind; a vastness, love, presence and power that blows our little minds, in a good way.

LORD ~ “I am with you always”… AWARENESS in its most natural and simple form. Lord ~ the absence of our assumed person, our conditioned self — the habitual filter that distorts reality, without us even noticing.

do ... in his eyes

Not a mentation, not a thinking, not a doing from the perspective of our own little mind and understanding, but Being Aware, here and now.

A martial artist needs to be effortlessly relaxed. Tight muscles are slow muscles.

How do you look through “his eyes”? For God there is no separate-self, no person, no other. There is only Life dancing and unfolding.

if you ... pay attention

You can only be good at something when you love it.

Paying attention is another way of saying: don’t be distracted, scattered or fickle.

Paying… giving something of value: attention, interest, belief, identity.

We start out with childlike ideas of a Father God somewhere else; angels, talking snakes, walking on water, the last day…

All of those are powerful symbols that we need — if we choose — to translate and relate into our own here and now!

Thinking and conceptualizing as a preparatory step in order to direct our self to be present “in the Lord”, not stuck in beliefs, hopes and wishful thinking; but with a clear and strong mind and heart, here and now.

keep all his decrees

Keep it fun!

God IS Love.

The Bible is not a moral code, but your own biography; don’t wait until you are cornered by misery, suffering and pain; life is more than paying bills and pretending what you are not.

bring on you diseases

Wow! Read it slowly. Don’t rush, don’t be chased by your habitual ways of old:

“I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you.”

See the implications of this harmless sentence, discover it for yourself, here and now! Read it again… and again! Be open, empty, interested, aware of your Awareness.

New insights need an inner-space to be received; “nature abhors vacuum”… Ask, look, be empty, admit “I don’t know”… too simple.

I am the LORD, who heals you
Truth is an activity in your own consciousness!

Everything you ever need for a fulfilled existence is already here and now.

Don’t just say amen and believe everything someone — even your own conditioned mind — tells you, but go the extra mile and examine, test, discover!

We are just so full of second-hand knowledge which we never really examined… “experience must be the ultimate test”… and it is effortless, like a little child; but it takes courage to say, feel and allow “I don’t know”… “speak Lord…”

and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, or free, but Christ is all and is in all. 12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Colossians 3:11

Christ is not “another”, but Christ is your Being Aware, personified in the Bible as Jesus Christ.

There are not 7.3 billion separate-selves in “this world”, but Christ is all and is in all.

Mystery only means “something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain,” but once we see it…
