God is love;
whoever abides in love abides in God,
and God in him.
1 John 4:16
Love is not a fuzzy feeling.
Love is not an excitement.
Love cannot come or go;
whatever comes goes, in “this world”.
Love only gets veiled by our distraction.
Love is the recognition of our common ground, our shared Being.
Love is the power, wisdom and substance of all we experience.
For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.
Job 22:26
As a concession to our fears, doubts and maturing discernment, God is taught as a Father; this is good to grow.
But as we leave behind our childhood we do not allow any idols in our own thinking; we transition from hopes and believes into knowing.
As an experience, God/Love can be likened to the vastness of inner space.
Love gives us wings; it is real.
Love is more real than what words/thoughts/feelings can describe or expect.
