“…analysis which does not lead to synthesis is merely destructive.”

more

“The presence of this undifferentiated universal life-power is the final axiomatic fact to which all our analysis must ultimately conduct us. On whatever plane we make our analysis it must always abut upon pure essence, pure energy, pure being; that which knows itself and recognises itself, but which cannot dissect itself because it is not built up of parts, but is ultimately integral: it is pure Unity. But analysis which does not lead to synthesis is merely destructive: it is the child wantonly pulling the flower to pieces and throwing away the fragments; not the botanist, also pulling the flower to pieces, but building up in his mind from those carefully studied fragments a vast synthesis of the constructive power of Nature, embracing the laws of the formation of all flower-forms. The value of analysis is to lead us to the original starting-point of that which we analyse, and so to teach us the laws by which its final form springs from this centre.
Knowing the law of its construction, we turn our analysis into a synthesis, and we thus gain a power of building up which must always be beyond the reach of those who regard ‘the unknowable’ as one with ‘not-being.'”

As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Peter 4:10

Grace

God is unknowable for our surface-mind, yet God is more real than what your sense organs render to us as “this world”.

The grace of God is a gift, freely given.

His rain falls on the just and the unjust.
God is too pure to behold [your] iniquity.

We only deprive ourselves from God’s Presence and grace through an unconscious mental effort.

that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Matthew 5:45

Heaven

Heaven is not in space and time; it is always here and now, beyond our perceptions of “this world”.

“The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

“At hand” means within reach, here and now.

“Repent” is a conscious activity of ours, a relentless facing of our own habits, disbelieves and resistances; for example right now:

“The kingdom of Heaven is within you.”

The Earth is the LORD’s and the fulness thereof.
Psalm 24:1

LORD

Our three-dimensional mind — in “this world” — immediately projects “another” when it hears the word ‘LORD’.

Just for the joy of exploration, consider the ‘LORD’ most intimately as being the absence of your conditioned mind/person in “this world”.

My kingdom is not of this world.
John 18:36

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
Luke 17:21

“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 18:3

like a little child

A little child is open and vulnerable, unburdened by all the should, would and could the adult mind has accumulated.

It wants to know; it is not satisfied with answers it does not understand.

As an adult we cannot fake being like a little child, we have to ease the deeply ingrained efforts of our person. 1

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6

I AM...

I AM ~ the pure presence out of which “this world” arises, and in which it is perceived; the spirit of the Lord, the absence of our conditioned person — we believe ourselves to be.

Jesus, Father, Son… if any of those words lead you away from the discovery of Love at the core of your own Being, then you are entertaining “this world”.

The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
1 Corinthians 15:26

Death

Physical birth and death pertain to “this world”, our culture of the sense-based premature conclusion that “i am a body, and therefore will die”.

We were born and raised into the flesh, believing all kinds of things that we never really examined, until now.

Jesus’ question: who do you say I am… Flesh or spirit? together with all the other seeming “nonsense” in the Bible will sooner or later open our eyes to the realisation that I am not “a thing” in “this world”.

There is only one son of God, there is only one Awareness, one Light, individualized, fragmented as you, me, the 10,000 things.

It is beyond belief; and everyone will discover it; that is the Good News.

Examine yourself…

Your main instrument in “this world” is your mind; all you behold to be without comes to you through the gates of your senses and gets interpreted as your mind.

Who do you say I am… Flesh or spirit?

All this spiritual nonsense (-;

It doesn’t make sense in “this world”, but it is wisely aimed to guide your attention — here and now — into “my kingdom”.

The instrument to guide and refine your attention is your discernment: your love and interest, your natural intuition that life is much more than what your person makes you believe. If you only wait you might miss what is eternally here and now.

Be like a little child…

Be, not do.

The Bible does not aim at improving our person, but for you to know the Truth, by being born from above. 2

Born from above, not be stuck in appearances — body and flesh, right or wrong — but to be rooted in Love, to know God, as the sole cause of the phenomena of life.

  1. persona ~ “in the word’s everyday usage, is a social role or a character played by an actor [you]. The word is derived from Latin, where it originally referred to a theatrical mask.”

  2. born ~ know your origin.
