I AM not of this world…

  • by

“Lord,” said Thomas, “we do not know where You are going, so how can we know the way?” 6Jesus answered, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”…
John 14:6

If you think about scripture with your “this world”-brain you might just shake your head.

Scripture is written for you! And you don’t need any help from any worldly authority in order for you to know the Truth.

Just be brave and make Jesus’ words your own through Philippians 2:5.

Scripture is eternally true; if it were about an evolutionary development in “this world” then at one point the Bible would be obsolete and outdated, but scripture cannot be broken, it is available for everyone at all times to return to the Father’s house, even on Mars, or wherever you believe yourself to be.

The obstacle that prevents you from fulfilling scripture is your own conditioned attention, interest, belief and identity.

Prayer and meditation relax the mind and help us to see and feel beyond the conditioned thinking and sinking in “this world”; and to lift our inner eyes on High into Heaven.

“I am the way, I am the truth, I am not of the world…” is the discovery of your true relationship with God.

in Heaven and on Earth

What is the vault — the inner vastness — in which your thoughts, perceptions and feelings occur?

Who are you who is aware of “this world”?

Those are not thinkers-questions to entertain the brain, but fun-da-mental questions if you call yourself a Christian or Truth seeker.

Truth is not a cluster of concepts, ideas, hopes, or believes.

Truth is that which cannot die, which can never, ever change.

The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; but “this world” is what we see as man; in “this world” everything changes and transitions from invisible to visible and back to invisible.

But the Earth IS.

For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. 18For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the spirit, 19in which He also went and preached to the spirits in prison.
1 Peter 3:18

if it is God's will

How can you be certain about God’s will?

If “the whole world is under the power of the evil one”… 1
…then also your brain-thinking and reasoning as “man” is under that power.

Can this be?

doing evil

Pure intuition, pure presence, no time to deviate or to get lost:
Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.
Matthew 5:37

The evil one, being in the world, is also in our old person in the form of fear, doubt, guilt, pride, shame, blame.

...bring you to God

The destination, the goal for you on the spiritual path is to be in the Presence of God.

Not as one in 7.4 billion people, but intimately one and in communion with your Father, the cause of the phenomena of life.

Please be absolutely clear that the word “Father” is a concession to the ignorant mind and needs to be replaced with the actual experience of God’s Presence.

alive in the Spirit

Do not get tripped off by thinking/sinking in your brain; don’t get distracted by so called physical death.

“Alive in spirit” is not a mentation, it is not a thinking process in “this world”; it is your true and eternal nature: alive in the spirit as child of God.

If you think about “my kingdom” as elsewhere and Jesus or God as “another” then you are in “this world”, entertaining erroneous, fleshly concepts.

spirits in prison

Our own person, our own conditioning, is a prison, if this is all we know about our self.

Our brain is a prison, if we operate it without heart, outside of God/Love.

Our physical body appears to be a prison, if we don’t know the nature of our own mind and identity in “this world”.

know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
John 8:32

Oh what a challenge to overcome “this world” in our own little person.

Until you see it for yourself, you most likely reject/kill the one who tells you about it!

It is an epic battle/incubating between our own assumptions and your kNowing beyond doubt.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. 23The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. 24Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? 25And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? 26If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? 27Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. 32Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:25

Space and time are the dimensions of “this world”, but “my kingdom is not of this world”! Very subtle.

If you wait for the kingdom to come you are in “this world”.

Discern Earth and world!

Don’t be distracted by your current erroneous believe “I am this body”, instead embrace Jesus’ simple and clear teaching “I am the Light”.

The wicked one raises his/her shield of “ya but”, the righteous one bravely takes Jesus’ words to heart, through Philippians 2:5 2

Amazing!

And I read it in the Bible for 40 years; the Bible did not change, but the veil of my person got pierced “in Christ”.

  1. 1 John 5:19

  2. …or any of the other scriptural gifts that relate directly to Jesus, the Master. The way is straight and narrow; the Truth is looking through your own eyes, it is not locked up in a book or behind an elaborate system of beliefs, hopes and false obedience.

    Dear Holger,
I finally got to your sweet essay.
It was thoughtful, insightful and WISE.
And, your use of quotations from the bible where perfectly integrated with your prose.
    Thank you!
