I AM going to the Father

  • by

“You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.”
John 14:28

It is fascinating that we can read something for years, and not even notice that we don’t understand.

Dead and alive, in the Bible pertains to our own sensitivity.

In the system of old “Going to the Father” was associated with physically dying.

When you read the Bible with your surface mind, you are in “this world”, in the system of old.

In order to enter the kingdom — the everpresent spiritual dimension — read with a meditative, prayerful, soft and open attitude.

Be like a little child, willing to learn, hungry to experience the truth; not hard, stiff and resentful like an adult.

God is Love,
you are the child of God…

Jesus’ statement “I am going to the Father” is an instruction to you!

Why, how?
Because of Philippians 2:5
“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus”!

You might encounter lots of resistance and disbelief in yourself when you explore and follow this pointing. Take it to heart!

Once you see this most simple but profound guidance you become alive “in Christ”, here and now; you raise from the dead.

Please, read all of this very slowly; your own mind escaped this most profound discovery for uncounted years.

We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one. 20And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true— in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the TRUE God and eternal life. 21Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
1 John 5:20

Being free of idols means that you are not satisfied with the images, and pseudo-answers your own thinking presents to you!

in the Presence of the Father!

You want to be in the Presence of God, of Love!

When you go to a restaurant you want to see, smell, taste and enjoy the food!

The same with God, your own Father: You want to be in the Presence of Love.

Thinking about God, and entertaining a future hope is not good enough.

the enemy in your own house...

“This world” is under the power of the evil one… keep it fun, the Bible is a good news, let it be of good report:

Your own brain-based thinking is a product of “this world”; your own sense of being a mortal person of flesh and blood, is a mentation that belongs to “this world”; and is “under the power of the evil one”.

The evil one, the wicked, is first and foremost our own ignorance and disobedience to the word of God/Love, in our own house.

It really is a good news. Love makes you relax, in quietness and confidence; and your Faith allows you to stay open, no matter what thoughts or feelings your surface mind tries to sell you as real.

in Him who is true

The vastness in which “this world”, your person, your body, your thoughts and feelings appear…

The ancients called it Father, the cause of the phenomena of life.

In more modern, scientific terms it is called Consciousness.

All words do fail, but we all can experience and abide in its Presence, most intimately.

In “this world” it is too easy to pay lip-service, to feel hurt or misunderstood; to go for anything that promises a little relief for the person we believe to be.

To “follow Jesus” is a labor of Love, most intimately within Self.

The “Truth” is not a cluster of concepts.
The Truth is that which never changes in you!

Your own Awareness, before any thought arises, is always with you.

The Father is not “another” … because of “I and my Father are one”… “not robbery to be equal with God”…

It is impossible to understand this in our surface mind; but in prayer it reveals itself.

Every explanation of God is an idol, a picture, a word, a thought in the mind.

Go to the Father, empty-handed, in your prayer and meditation…
“Speak Lord, thy servant heareth”.

Allow yourself to drop “this world” in your own mind.
Your mind is a tool, it is your servant who renders “this world”.

Leave Mr. or Mrs. Mind outside at the temple gate, when you enter your inner Being, when you go to the Father.

The wicked one in you says “ya but…”
The righteous one embraces the guidance of the Bible, beyond hope and belief.
