What If..?

  • by

What if… isn’t it called gambling?
Done systematically we call it science in “this world”.

Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall set you free!
John 8:32

Truth is that which never changes in you:
“God is Love”.
“I am with you always”.
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

To the separate-self, our person — the “wicked” — this sounds foolish and unbelievable. 1

I, in my current state, identified as “person”, feel as if I am a separate-self, on my own, apart from God.
If I am lucky, I am once in a while surrounded by friends, but if I am not careful they also run away from “me”.

What does it mean “I am always with you”?

Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
Psalm 139:7-8

‘I am the LORD your God’… 2
does not point to a person, but to Consciousness.

The ‘Lord’ meaning your own Awareness, in the absence of your person, your conditioning.
God, being the cause of the phenomena of life.

All of this is closer than breathing, nearer than hands and feet; not flesh, but Spirit, always here and now.

“Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.…
Matthew 18:3

Truth is simple, but the seeker is complex

Without you Being Aware, you couldn’t read these words; without you Being Aware nothing would exist; no thought, no feeling, no anything can be without you, Being Aware.

Being Aware is the most natural, and most effortless; but we never give it much attention, we only use it all the time for our story to make sense in “this world”.

Wishful thinking..?
What if in 100 years “this world” will be a better place?
Yes, the world will be a better place, because today we understand the Bible, we begin here and now to wake up from our own (involuntary) ignorance; one by one.

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.
Do you not realize that Christ Jesus IS in you–unless, of course, you fail the test?

2 Corinthians 13:5

It is present tense, unconditional: “Christ Jesus is in you”!

This is foolishness for the “natural man” because it doesn’t make sense in “this world”, it does not compute in the brain.

Our person cannot help being doubtful; so we need to add some love and playfulness to the mix.

The Bible is not religion.

The potential circus people do with it is called religion.

The Bible is a highly practical book, inspiring us to dig deeper into our own true nature, beyond what we think and feel to be true. It is not about talking snakes, and one son, some 2,000 years ago, who had super powers to walk over water or to resurrect physically dead people.

The Bible is timeless and most precious as a tool to examine our own identity as children of God/Life/Love, here and now.

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
Colossians 3:11

“Book” is the appearance, the medium; but the spirit — the underlying message and reality — is you, Being free of delusions and childish thinking: joy, harmony, abundance, free of suffering…

How can we be free? By knowing and experiencing our true nature as children of God — or whatever terminology or names you can allow that touch you deeply at your core.

“Everything in the Bible takes place in the mind of man: the tree, the city, the people, everything. There is not a statement made in the Bible that does not represent some attribute of the human mind. They are all personifications of the mind and not things within the world.”

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6These words I am commanding you today are to be upon your hearts. 7And you shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.…
Deuteronomy 6:5-7

Don’t be pacified with beliefs, don’t even believe what your own (ignorant) mind/servant tells you, but find out, discover, experience the Truth — that which never changes! Be in the Presence of God, of pure Love.

Become very sensitive to discern between what you believe and what you actually know. This is not a casual task, but it takes love, bravery, dedication and interest. Instead to let life circumstances crush your person, do the dirty work yourself and examine your Self: Who do you say I AM? Flesh or spirit? Do your homework, know your words beyond doubt.

It takes only one Truth statement, deeply meditated, fully embraced, for scripture to open up. It is not academic work, but Love and effortless effort.

  1. wicked ~ please keep it fun; the Bible is about Love and the highest fulfillment of human existence. Be willing to go the extra mile and look up what words mean, and don’t immediately run away if something doesn’t feel cozy. We are the ones that wake up, we are not waiting for “this world” (effect) to change. We want to know God, the cause of the phenomena of life, here and now.

  2. Numbers 15:41
