Christ-mess or Christmas

For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

Helloooo!

What does that mean?
“To us” … that’s you and me, here and now!

A child is something we cannot help to love and care for, even if it is lots of work, beyond our personal capacity, even if the world calls it insignificant, disturbing, ugly or unwanted.

A “son”… please don’t get tripped off with the old language, but give it your best, be open and curious.

“Is given” … present tense… is it a curse or a blessing?
It is the greatest gift, if we recognize it.
We don’t need to be deserving, it is a gift to be enjoyed!

“Wonderful Counselor” … who is usually your counselor? Maybe your brain (a bio-logical instrument), your person (your past conditioning and mental capacity), or is there more?

“Everlasting Father”… together with Matthew 23:9 it becomes really fascinating:

But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.
9And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven.
10Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Christ.…

Father?
To what in you does “Father” point to?

Christ?
The Bible calls Christ the wisdom and power of God.

God?
“God, the cause of the phenomena of life.”
The word God is not God…
A mental answer will not do; only experience, curiosity and Love seem to lift the veil.

In “this world” we look out into “otherness” and throw out the precious baby with the bathwater. 2
In “my kingdom” we see without separation. 3

Both are the same coin, Life on Earth!
Here and now, but from different viewpoints; maybe call it head and heart?
The name is not important, but you Being aware of the Truth — that which never changes: AWARENESS.

Be vigilant, watch your own feeling and judgment… it is perceived in the flesh, but appears in pristine Awareness:

4

The above dog picture is the most natural everyday scene.
But then our thinking comes in, and depending on our mood and our up-to-date conditioning we either see and enjoy innocence, beauty, humor, or we feel hurt or disgusted, believing that scripture got profaned. Whereas scripture is meant to rediscover the beauty and preciousness of our every here and now, of God’s creation. How magnificent!

But how limiting is our use of words and judgment… in “this world”.

You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, 40yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.…
John 5:39

In “this world” we look out… and see objects in our mind.

In “my kingdom” we know the Truth in our heart — I AM the light of this world.

In “this world” we tend to get claustrophobic.

In “my kingdom” we experience inner space, beauty and love, independent from outer circumstances.

Both are two sides of the same coin.

Both are two states in your Consciousness 5

This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand’.
Matthew 13:13

Don’t take it personal, and don’t hide in your disbelieve, pain, blame, shame and guilt, but be brave and curious… there is something in you that you and most of our seven billion friends always overlook!

It is just too simple, too natural, so that we never give it much care and consideration.

6

There appears so much suffering, injustice and pain when we are in “this world”, when you use your mind as your only interpreter and counselor…

If you like you can use the Bible as a pain-killer and escape into a world of hope, believe and endless-waiting; you will even find many friends who will happily join you.

For a while this works and can be beneficial to release some tension — to let the Christ child grow in the womb of loving ignorance, but you don’t want to replace one lie — “this world” –, with another incompleteness. In its own season we will wake up, not by might nor by power, but in a twinkle of an eye… Do not believe me, but examine yourself and test yourself.

Believe and hope are in “this world”, in space and time. In “my kingdom” there is no gap, no longing, no desire, because “son, all that I have is thine”.
Being aware of our own Awareness we are in the Presence of fulfillment.

The “sin” — the missing of the mark — in “this world” is our false collective assumption that happiness/fulfillment is to be found in outer circumstances, conditions and relationships. This erroneous view is “this world”, it is not another “Earth”!

Think not that I AM come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I AM not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 5:17

I AM come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10

The fullness and fulfillment of life is everyone’s birthright as children of God… not elsewhere… not after we drop our body in time and space,
but always here and now; everpresent!

If we read the Bible in “this world” we are bound to time and space; whatever we believe into existence we will be confronted with in “this world”…
In “my kingdom” … still the same Earth, the fullness of the Lord — God’s creation IS eternal, timeless, everpresent.

All of this is nonsense in “this world”… but you will see for your Self… in the vacuum of not knowing… “speak Lord thy servant heareth”.

I AM… not as “another” in “this world”, but the Presence of Being, the child of God, in all your affairs; good, bad or indifferent…

The Bible — or any other Truth teaching — is an amazing gift, if we take it to heart and are brave and curious!

It is for you! As a tool to unveil the Truth of your true nature as the child of God, here and now.

Words are only pointers, to direct your awareness to an immediate seeing. Our understanding arises from the silence between thoughts.

Don’t be stuck in “the letter” in thinking, but discover the underlying Spirit; not as a thing, but your own aliveness, Love and freedom; wherever you are, whatever your background, whatever you do. Unfathomable.

Don’t believe any man, but discover for your Self.

In our ignorance we call ourselves sinners; technically that is true, because identified as “man whose breath is in his nostrils” we miss the mark.

Through the lense of “this world” we see separation and incompleteness.

You cannot find Christ when you are hypnotized by “this world”, when you look for “another” outside of Consciousness.

You have already been given the greatest gift, but you are not aware of it!

Your own Awareness is your redeemer.

But we never acknowledge or honor the greatest Presence, the King who was born in unfortunate circumstances, threatened to be killed by the powers in “this world”, misunderstood and rejected by “people”; tortured and humiliated in the most cruelest and disgusting ways… in “this world”.

And yet the message was always forgiveness!

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”
Luke 23:34

Identified as man, this total forgiveness is impossible.

Your prayer and meditation starts where you find yourself right here and now.

With rambling sheeps — the thoughts of this world — in your own head: blame, shame, guilt, fear, expectations to outcome…

You remember some Truth statements: God IS Love…
Intuitively you gently remember some of Jesus words.

You relax — even just for a short moment — and open up to the depth of Being.

You shut the doors to this world — your senses and the automatic thinking.

This very moment you are save and secure, …

Embrace with your heart what your mind cannot understand.

Do not be fooled by experiences or the most amazing visions!

Be open and feel, but don’t be lost in the imaginations of your own pained mind.

“whatever comes goes”… in “this world”.

You did not spend all those years you were seeking for the Truth, to now be satisfied with peanuts and some fuzzy feelings.

“Have that mind which was also in Christ Jesus”!

Drop the old ideas of your person and be renewed by looking through Jesus’ eyes!

Your old self might kick and scream, because it can only survive in the darkness of ignorance.

Lift up your eyes on high…

No fantasy, no imagination, no stories … not being emotional…, no make-believe…, but crystal-clear Awareness.

The Truth — that which never changes — IS:

I AM with you always,
I will never leave you nor forsake you!

There is resentment, anger and running away…
that is Jesus on the stake or cross, or whatever you call it.

Christ is the clarity of seeing what IS, unfiltered by our conditioned and limited minds; pure seeing; the Light of knowing.

Being in this Presence is “my kingdom”…

No circus numbers, no turning stones into bread; very humble and natural; wonderful, but too simple.

As soon as thinking pops in you are back in “this world”.

Jesus words are: I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

I AM come so that you may have life and more abundantly.

“My kingdom” and “this world” are both on the Earth, which is the fullness of the Lord.

Do not fight circumstances, but wake to the Presence of the King.

Not a warrior or worrier, but your own Awareness.

Could it be so simple!???

Being aware of Awareness, unburdened by the thoughts and objects of “this world”, is the highest mediation, is the place of the most high.

The King of kings, I AM the Lord your God, is more intimate to you than intimacy; it is your true nature; knowing that you are that, the child of God.

Ego, ignorance, pride, expectations, conclusions, pretentiousness belong to this world.

Life is a mystery; it needs to be lived and embraced; our brain is busy making sense in “this world” in space and time, but “my Kingdom” is dimensionless Awareness; always here and now, everlasting.

“This world” rejects the Truth, ridicules it and tries to get it out of the way.

The “system of things” to be overcome is not in “this world” but in our erroneous identification and outlook at life.

Please do not believe me anything, but go back to scripture, to Jesus’ words and experiences, and make his timeless message your own, here and now:
“have that mind which was also in Christ Jesus”!
This is following Jesus, to follow his footsteps.

How else do you follow Jesus?

All of scripture thou it appears without, in “this world”, is your own inner journey through the trials and tribulations of your own psychological drama.

Oh ye of little faith…

Know ye not that your body is the temple of the living God.

Be still and know that I AM God.

If the words God or Christ suggest someone external to your Self then you have the wrong concepts, then you are in “this world”.

It really is the Good News!

With fleshly ears, intimidated by our own ignorance, we cannot enter the kingdom, which is always here and now.

God is Love!

It is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom!

The system of old is “this world”…

The change is not outside, waiting for Christ to come; but in our obedience and bravery to know the Truth. The Truth will set you free, not our mental acrobatics or double-mindedness. If you are not authentic, then all behavioral or circumstantial improvements are just a temporary decoration to continue the dream of personhood.

In quietness and confidence shall be thy strength… but ye run away on swift horses… your own cleverness.

Don’t run away, but pick up your cross, drop your seeming resistance in your person.

God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’…
Acts 17:27

I AM the Lord your God.

Discern between I AM as a person — a bundle of mental conditioning — and I AM as the Awareness, before any — or in which — identification and mental activity arises.

Be still and know…

The spiritual path is not about accumulating more and more… it is about removing that which veils our direct seeing.

Without the joy of prayer and meditation you cannot escape the net of your own ignorant thinking.
