The Fullness Of Life

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.

1 Corinthians 10:26 1

Be brave and allow some room for imagination and playfulness; feel… feel the balance.

The Bible is such an interesting “book” because it tickles our imagination, challenges the mind and warmth the heart; all in One.

The point is not if the Bible is right or wrong, the point is that you know the Truth!

Truth

The “Truth” is not a cluster of concepts, but the direct feeling-knowing of your true Nature; not a mental abstraction, not some second-hand knowledge, not hearsay.

You cannot not be yourself, but we are distracted by the veil of our person we believe ourselves to be. Very simple and crystal clear, once you see it.

We don’t want to live in a world full of pain, of denial, hope, believes or mental escapes.

To a sensitive, feeling being “this world” appears to be a crazy place, attitude or perspective.

Pain and suffering might bring us to the Bible with the longing to find some overdue answers.
Because intuitively we know that what we perceive through our person as “this world” cannot be absolutely true.

We know it!
Because we still feel or intuit the depth of our true Being — God, Love. We are not totally lost in “this world”.

Do not fear, little flock, for your Father took delight to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:32

At the beginning of our “journey” back home this may sound like a fairytale, too good to be true.

But later we will discover and experience that “this world” — based on our fleshly senses and mental capacity — is a erroneous interpretation of “reality”.

Something is “off”… and at first — maybe for lifetimes — we look outside to remedy our pain.

Examine yourself, test yourself…
Knock… know ye not…

If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Galatians 6:4 2

What does all of this mean?

Our thinking mind cannot enter the “kingdom”, for the separate-self all of this is foolishness.

We cannot embrace the Bible/Truth without frequent and dedicated periods of gentle meditation/prayer during the day and night.

We need to bypass our habitual mind, our own involuntary ignorance.

Pray without ceasing

Praying not as a chore to get somewhere, but as a loving thanksgiving, here and now for the fullness of life.

Just 20 or 30 seconds each hour of simply, silently turning within and thinking/feeling:
“Thank you” and then to be open and receptive. Just for a twinkle of an eye, but fully present, wholeheartedly.

We just need a crack in our incessant stream of thinking and identity in “this world” to let the Light penetrate and guide our affairs.

We cannot practice being our self, because we can never not be our self; we just get distracted by “this world”.

I can of mine own self do nothing.
John 5:30 3

We don’t want our person to end up in a mental institute or live under a bridge; but we also don’t want to suffocate in “this world”.

How do we fulfill scripture in a scientific and emotionally appropriate, healthy, fruitful, enjoyable way?

Between science and our feeling nature seems to be a big gap; so it might seem.

The coldness of rationality versus the fire of the heart?

The Truth is not in mental answers but in asking, knocking and experiencing first-hand, here and now.

Page in draft-mode, I am working on it.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:20

How do you surpass personal perfection or eagerness?

Trying hard to be a good or perfect person in “this world” will not bring us into the kingdom.

How can we receive the gift of Clarity and Love?

Be ye like little children
Matthew 18:3 4

As adults we tend to get more and more stiff and brittle over the years; we accumulate more and more mental scars, understandings and assumptions during our seeming threescore years and ten.

Part of our culture in this “system of things” is to accumulate conclusions and mental remedies to strengthen and protect our “person”.

Growing older, the majority of people move away from curiosity and openness into fixed and rigid grooves of thinking and interpreting the “earth”.

The earth is the LORD’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it
Psalm 24:1 5

Earth… and “this world”

Earth is this marvellous creation of God, of Life, of Love, of the Universe, the harmonious balanced interchange; whatever word you use to point to it.

“This world” is what we make out of it in our person, our ignorance, based on judging by appearances; our five physical senses filter and project the pure light of God’s creation into our thoughts and images.

Mind is not a machine, not an autonomous entity; mind is thoughts and images. We need and use our mind for everything! But we rarely explore its nature. If we don’t know our most important tool then we might walk in darkness or even “hell” (metaphorically speaking). Mind is our servant, not our master. Who do you say I AM… Flesh or spirit?

Please remain open and playful…

for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2 Corinthians 3:6 6

We want TRUTH, LIFE, LOVE, and not drown in empty words.

Without Faith we cannot please him.
Hebrews 11:6 7

“Faith” is the substance of things hoped for…

The “substance” is our attitude rooted in authenticity.

Let it be of good report!

The Bible is a spiritual message, pointing out that life cannot be confined to our conditioned, fragmented and limited minds.

Life is more than we believe or hope it is.

A + B = C is great in “this world” for mechanical achievements, but more importantly we need to allow and dedicate some inner space for our unadulterated feeling nature, void of ego and commentator; even good intention can become a weight, a distraction from what is here and now.

Life is more than checking off to-do lists and pleasing assumed expectations. Life is much more than the stories we hear, tell and believe into existence.

Who do you say I AM?
Mark 8:29 8

Jesus, the master, the pattern for or salvation!
The personification of our own Awareness, guides us into the inquiry of our own eternal nature, here and now.

Am I flesh or spirit?

What do the words mean: flesh, spirit?
It is crucial to know our true nature, our essence.
You might be the child of a King but believe yourself to be a church mouse.

Let the weak say I am strong

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Galatians 6:7

This is an oversimplification, but life reflects to us what we entertain about our Self, I AM — the child of God.

but ye refuse to come to me.
John 5:40 9

We cannot find Jesus in the flesh, in concepts in ideas, in sense-perceptions and mental activity.
An even “this world” is idea… whatever we believe to know is a reflection in our mind.

We cannot seek or wait for our redeemer in time and space, because time and space belong to “this world”; mortal perishable, changefull, always entangled in pleasure and pain.

My kingdom is not of “this world”.
John 18:36 10

The Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof.
Psalm 24:1

Relax your head, you cannot find the answer in a “book” but in your own experience.

Life is amazingly beautiful and generous; but identified as “person” we make ourselves into anything between grasshoppers and puffed up pretenders (choose your own words).

God IS Love
1 John 4:16 11

Don’t believe in god as a hope, an idea, a concept, but be in the Presence of God. God — the cause of the phenomena of Life — is never separate and apart from you, because s/he is the Essence of your own Being, here and now. The Essence and Substance of everything created and uncreated.

Wither shall I flee from thy presence?
Psalm 139:7

But we are too busy in “this world”… so we overlook what we have “in the house”.

Amazing Grace!

feel after him that you may find him.
Acts 17:27 12

You are the child of God, the creator of all Universes, lifeforms and phenomena.

You are deserving to know your Father, to sit on his lap and be taught about his creation.

Do not be intimidated by your own person’s fears, doubts and believes.

Discern between your Self and your mind.
Discern between believe and experience.

Be curious and playful with the Bible!
Explore the words and look beyond you immediate conclusions.

Be vulnerable and open; say ouch and sorry, be wise, don’t just habitually ‘suck it up’.
Conclusions mean little outside of “this world”, but “to know him aright is life eternal”.

God is Love!

In order to love your neighbor as yourself you need to allow Love for your Self.
See that your “person” is a cluster of assumptions and conditionings.

Be playful, be brave.
The kingdom — your birthright, your peace, righteousness and freedom is not in your “person” in “this world” but eternally in the heavens.

Heaven, sky, is your inner space in which you are Aware of all your experiences.
Is too simple and too obvious.
Explore, feel, be thankful.

Don’t hunger for people’s approval or confirmation.

You might be alone, but you can never be lonely or lost, if you know the Truth in your heart.

I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matthew 5:17 13

How and where are you aware of your Father?
Where is heaven?
What is the Law?

Mental answers will do only on the surface, and we are easily impressed, intimidated or distracted.

Before you save the world, be firmly established in your true Nature; then you will see that our suffering is attitudinal, not circumstantial. Our Father — Consciousness — knows what things we have need of!

Turn ye and live…
Ezekiel 18:32 14

“I AM come that ye may have life… and more abundantly.”
John 10:10 15

Wow! The good fight is an internal one, between what seems and what IS.

The knife that cuts off our pains and ignorance is being aware of our own Awareness. But in “this world” we overlook our Self, the most obvious.

Please, be not satisfied with words, but value your own experience much higher.

  1. Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, 26for, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” 27If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat anything set before you without raising questions of conscience.…

  2. …4Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else. 5For each one should carry his own load.…

  3. …as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

  4. And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

  6. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim that anything comes from us, but our competence comes from God. 6And He has qualified us as ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7Now if the ministry of death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at the face of Moses because of its fleeting glory,…

  7. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

  8. And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

  9. You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me, 40yet you refuse to come to Me to have life. 41I do not accept glory from men,…

  10. “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed You over to me. What have You done?” 36Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if it were, My servants would fight to prevent My arrest by the Jews. But now, My kingdom is not of this realm.” 37“Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”…

  11. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

  12. From one man He made every nation of men, to inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. 28‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’…

  13. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. 17Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.…

  14. For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

  15. I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness. 11I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.…
