The Good News

Part 1

Again, a page just in draft mode.

I wake up early in the morning, clear and strong, with some good thoughts; then I start writing and writing and start thinking more and more, and finally sink tired into “this world”. Lost my point in too many words…

“Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.”
-Steve Jobs

“Be ye like little children”
-Jesus

Unto us a child is born a King is given…

First of all: relax, be open, breath, feel your hands, feel your feet; all is well, warm and alive.

No need for strive or eagerness, you are safe, here and now.

For this moment, right now, be like a little child, sitting on the lap of God.
Be in your heart, don’t tighten up in the upper room, in your thinking.

Drop the burden of your person, allow that you are safe and secure.
This is easy, because I AM with you always, and I will never leave you nor forsake you.

The Truth IS:

I AM the way.
I AM the Truth.

I AM with you always.
I will never leave you nor forsake you.

For the natural man this is foolishness.
The natural man does not know how to repent, how to see what Jesus sees.
Until now s/he could not intimately relate to: “my kingdom” is not from “this world”.

As men we are fragmented in our thinking; we read words but don’t make them our own.
Words are only hints and pointers to guide our attention. Insights arise from the gap between our surface thoughts, but those gaps are usually too small when we are busy in “this world”.

“Have that mind which was also in Christ Jesus” requires a lot of bravery, love and wisdom; to leave behind the nets of our own old identity and thinking in “this world”.

Back to the good news:
The kingdom is at hand and I AM the king, your redeemer.

Have ears to hear and eyes to see!

Again, be open, be like a little child.
Don’t judge by appearance, leave aside the heaviness of thinking, of “this world”.

Lift up your eyes on high.

Oh, it is so easy to get distracted, to get lost in the maze of “this world”; without the shepard our thoughts are like rambling sheep; isn’t it?

The whole Bible is for you; all is relevant at its own time; the Bible is a spiritual message, but you read it only with your fleshly mind: Everything your person can do and figure out is “this world”.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
John 14:12

Be vigilant!
Because of Philippians 2:5 1 the “I am going to the Father” is your job, your doing, your surrender!

Don’t be discouraged, don’t rely on your own strength, but look up to the heavens.

Heavens
Don’t look at the passing clouds of “this world”, but rest your eyes on the vastness of the sky.

Know and live by your scriptures; not like the scribes and pharisees, but go deeper and higher, beyond your person.

Reading the Bible requires also our intuitive faculties, our love and care to read between the lines and be teachable, receptive and open: Examine what you believe to know, not by more thinking, but by “Be still and know that I am God”.

Take it to heart! Be at awe. Know the Truth, right here and now, that is all that is needed. The truth will set you free, not the sweat of your brow.

If you drown in your own bubble of reasoning then you are in “this world”.

From christ-mess to Christmas

Deeply explore “have that mind which was also in Christ Jesus.”
This washes away your ignorance, this shines the Light of clear seeing into the hidden corners of your person.

Jesus’ pointings to “my kingdom”

man’s stubbornness in “this world”

I am the Light

I am perishable, I am flesh, I am a sinner.
I am John Doe, I am a male, I am X years old, I am from Downtown, I am my body, I share the destiny of my ‘vehicle’.

I AM your redeemer,
I AM with you always.

The kingdom will come soooon and ‘then’ all will be good.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
Luke 12:32

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
Ezekiel 12:2 2

  1. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

  2. “Son of man”… that’s you in “this world”.
