Jesus… pattern for salvation

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus
Philippians 2:5

Wow! Don’t rush to the next passage, but digest this one… it is a great key.

The Bible is full of practical instructions, but who has ears to hear?

We can read the Bible for decades, even with the best mental understanding, but still miss the mark!

Instead to think about a man Jesus, outside of yourself and other than you, see that Jesus’ life is a pattern, a guide for your own life, your own salvation.1

Read it again, and again… see the implications:

Jesus’ life was not the life of “another”. Jesus was not one chosen, super-special individual, but he showed everyone the way, if we understand the Bible spiritually.

Common sense keeps you in the dark; if you look at Jesus only as a man, separate and apart from you, then you create a big gap.

By proclaiming Jesus as the only son of God, church and politics castrated — disempowered — Christianity. People are still waiting for the world to change, instead to acknowledge and honor the redeemer in your Self. Not as ego, but humility.

It is foolish to “talk” about it in “this world”.

But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

18And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into His image with intensifying glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.…
2 Corinthians 3:17

Where the Spirit of the Lord is
…there is freedom.

Having that mind which was in Christ Jesus means that whatever was true for him IS true for you, here and now!

Don’t believe, but find out, experience! The path is not hearsay but to walk in his footsteps.2

“I am with you always” … does not refer to a fleshly being whose body turned to dust some 2,000 years ago.

“I AM” … is you, Being aware of your own Awareness, unburdened, undistracted by the veil of your person, “this world”.

Please don’t rush and be aware how easy it is to reject ideas that disturb our familiarity.

The “system of things” is also established in the way you think and explore your own house.

with unveiled faces...

How do you “turn to the Lord”?

At first in meditation…
take “I AM the Lord your God” literally! 3

Be like a little child and humbly honor and enjoy being aware of your own Awareness!

The person cannot do that. For the natural man it is foolishness, because mind can only process and recognize motion and change.

Imagination has no part in it! Do not be foolish and puff up your ego, your person, and get distracted by fleeting experiences, no matter how wonderful they seem.

Be willing to leave all of “this world” behind! Be even willing to die… so it may feel.

What is more important than being in the Presence of God?

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;
1 Corinthians 6:19

Who dwells in the “temples of the Holy Spirit?
Jesus’ “I and my Father are one” means little to the wicked, but the righteous takes it to heart, and lets it unfold, here and now.

If you make yourself into a undeserving grasshopper and call yourself a sinner, then not even God can help you!

What a challenge!

Psychology observed that a person values “being liked by peers” higher than standing up for what is true.
Another aspect of our own nature where we potentially deprive ourselves from our freedom and redemption.
Jesus and Barabbas (Matthew 27:17) point to this dilemma, this potential cowardness in each of us.

Back to basics...

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus”…

The Bible is not a mental mountain, the Truth is not a strenuous path paved with suffering…

Only one passage of the Bible, really explored and understood (intuitively), can open up scripture. Knowing the Truth is our birthright. Being intoxicated by the apple from the tree of good and evil is the only thing that keeps us away from Paradise, from harmony.

If you believe common sense and bind yourself to time and space then you look at the Bible with fleshly eyes. God’s creation is good and perfect, our suffering is attitudinal, not circumstantial!

Read the above Philippians 2:5 again and again… see and allow its implications!

“Who do you say I AM…” flesh, or Spirit? This you have to answer for your Self.

Be brave, see beyond the inner turmoil that keeps you in “this world”.

The wicked loves to wait for the Lord, the righteous walks his talk.

  1. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
    John 14:12

  2. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, and seek Him with all their heart. 3They do no iniquity; they walk in His ways.
    Psalm 119:2

  3. The wicked one understands “I am” as person; the righteous one honors it as Consciousness, the Father. The lack of discernment between flesh and Spirit is missing the mark, it is the source of endless suffering, pain and misery.
