Bible Here & Now

Is the Lord to be found outside, elsewhere, or is at a Presence I can abide in, be aware of — always here and now?

…and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

…but you were not willing.

Paradoxically fulfillment is not a gaining, but the letting go of what veils our true Nature.

Before any mental activity pulls your attention away, into subject-object, into thinking, into “this world”.

“This world” is how we experience God through the lense of duality; the lense of me; me-there misery.

We are just so full of second-hand knowledge which we never really examined… “experience must be the ultimate test”… and it is effortless, like a little child; but it takes courage to say, feel and allow “I don’t know”… “speak Lord…”

Faith is believing what is incredible.

Or was it a chance

The Bible is a spiritual message for you; don’t get lost in “other”, it is all about you.

Love cannot come or go; Love only gets veiled by overlooking.

But we are not willing to repent, to surrender, to settle down; we are too much invested in listening to our fleshly brain.

Life is a-maze-ing, let’s not waste it!

Wow! what an amazingly deep message the Bible is when you realize that it is a spiritual message, written as a concession to the ignorant mind.

A beautiful table populated with deep Bible quotes (-;

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.”

“…And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds…”

Blah blah? … in the spirit of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

The Bible is a spiritual message, re-introducing us to God, the cause of the phenomena of life.

We are resting on the lap of God, but dream and suffer “this world” into existence. There is only one creation, one Earth, here and now!

  Christ in you, the hope of glory.  

THEN nobody can use it to injure another either in mind, body or estate.

“analysis which does not lead to synthesis is merely destructive.”

Scripture is eternally true; if it were about an evolutionary development in “this world” then at one point the Bible would be obsolete and outdated.

It is fascinating that we can read something for years, and not even notice that we don’t understand.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain. Where can I go to escape Your Spirit?

How do you transition from entertaining thoughts about God to being in the Presence of God?

One day — why not now — you will see how all this seeming nonsense in the Bible makes total sense, in a new, fresh, alive and practical way.

“When truth, embodied in a tale, Shall enter in at lowly doors.”

Don’t fall asleep, in trying to apply the Bible to your here and now! Don’t fall into the trap of waiting! Your life depends on discerning what is true and what is just a fairytale in your own thinking.

The Bible is not religion.
The circus people do with it is called religion.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

“Everything in the Bible takes place in the mind of man…”

Then what is seemingly distracting me, right now, to be in the Presence of Love?

I will be found by you declares the LORD, I am with you always.

The whole Bible is relevant for you, but we don’t allow to see it.
The “enemy” is not out “there” but in our own resentment to really examine our own intimate mental and emotional house.

Wisdom grows in the cracks between our thoughts. If there is no inner-space, If we are always eager to fit…

Not by the sweat of your brow, but by your bravery to challenge your own beliefs and assumptions; don’t be intimidated by fears and doubts or what other people tell you.

I just allow myself — living in the land of the brave and free — to expose my own ignorance, by challenging myself to put into words what is maybe only reserved for grown ups?

If you believe common sense and bind yourself to time and space then you look at the Bible with fleshly eyes.

      Father, Holy Spirit, Jesus… The Bible is not a fantasy world, it is not intended to be used as a pain-killer to escape our own ignorance. Bible & modern technology… What a treasure the Bible can be when we relate it to our here and now; when it becomes alive and relevant in this moment.

When you walk,
your steps will not be impeded;
when you run, you will not stumble.

Scripture points to the ever-present reality of our own Being, beyond the person we assume in “this world”.

When we hear the words God, Christ, Jesus… and think about “another” then we should question our own concepts.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you…

A conceptual understanding is helpful to get started, to quiet the seeming storms.

Don’t kill the messenger with your judgments, your resentment, but listen to the message…

“Whether you say ‘God is everywhere’ or ‘everything is one energy’ – it is the same reality, expressed in different ways.”

No matter what the fashion or mood of our time, the Truth is not in a “book”, but the discovery of our true nature as the child of God/Life/Love.
