The Bubble Of Our Person

Disclaimer:

This is a private website, from heart to heart.

I do not claim perfection in my writing style.
I am not claiming anything.
I just share what is on my mind, learning to string together words.

The point is not in agreeing or believing, but in being open.
Truth is not a bundle of concepts; experience is higher than beliefs or assumptions.

To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Colossians 1:27

Yes, a mystery, 1 but not rocket-science.

Spiritual ego — or maybe call it our own blind-spot — is hard to detect… it is too easy to be intimidated even by our own thoughts and feelings.

It requires some dedication and interest to explore and discover that life is more than what we believe or assume.

How to pierce the veil — the bubble of our own personal understanding?

Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.”
Frank 16:17

The Bible is amazing, but it is easy to get lost in language, fantasy and wishful thinking if we are not very careful and gentle within our own mind.

“For Wisdom dealt with mortal powers,
Where truth in closest words shall fail,
When truth embodied in a tale
Shall enter in at lowly doors.”
Tennyson

“Spirituality” might easily become an addiction, an escape, a pain-killer.

The Good News is that we are not an isolated separate-self.

God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.
Acts 17:27 2

“Whether you say ‘God is everywhere’ or ‘everything is one energy’ – it is the same reality, expressed in different ways.”

  1. mystery ~ something that is difficult or impossible to understand or explain.

  2. The G-word… just pretend some openness.

Someone might define God as the “cause of the phenomena of life”; the word God or any idea we entertain is an image, an idol; not the real feelingless feeling.
